The following is a summary of the requirements to be a Coach or Assistant Coach in AYSO Area 11-V Region 89.

  • Must be registered registered for the current season by completing an AYSO Volunteer Application and undergoing a background check by AYSO National.

  • Must be Safe Haven for Coaches Certified

  • Must be Age Appropriate Coach Trained

  1. U10 - Must complete AYSO U10 Coach course

  2. U12 - Must complete AYSO U12 Coach course

  3. U14 - Must complete AYSO Intermediate Coach course

  4. U16-U19 - Must complete AYSO Advanced Coach course

  • All of the above must be verifiable in eAYSO, AYSO's national registration and information database.

  • Only eAYSO Team Rosters signed and dated by the Regional Commissioner will be accepted for the Fall Season, Area 11-V and Section 11 Playoffs, Spring Season and any AYSO Tournaments.

Different Coaches Training Classes are available through La Mesa AYSO and at different locations in Section 11.
