Commissioner's Challenge
Help our Region grow beyond 1500 players for the Fall-2009 season and he will contribute $500 to create a college scholarship program for our players.

Guidelines for the scholarship progrm will be determined later.

Intermediate Coach Training
This is a 15 hour class spanning 3 days
Schedule: Thursday June-25 and Friday June-26 --- 3 hours each evening
Saturday June 27 ---- all day with lunch included

Volunteers Needed
La Mesa AYSO is an all volunteer organization.

We need many volunteers to successfully run our
region. Please consider giving your time to the thousands
of kids who are allowed to play soccer every year.

Assistant Treasurer
Are you detail oriented with good computer skills? The military has called and our Treasurer is being deployed to the other side of the world. Our current Assistant Treasurer needs your help. Please contact the volunteer coordinator at gay-faracemann@cox.net for more details on how you can step up to this challenge.

Picture Coordinator
Responsible for planning our picture day and managing the
distribution of completed picture packages our picture vendor.
Awards Coordinator
Responsible for the rpurchase and distribution of end of
season trophies..
Fundraising Coordinator
Help identify sponsors and bring them into our soccer family
to reduce the cost of our program.

La Mesa AYSO is an all volunteer organization. We are always in need of more volunteers and you can help.

We currently have openings for:

Asst. Commissioner
Work with our current Regional Commissioner managing a motivated group of volunteers. The current Commissioner is looking towards the future and would like to begin training his replacement. If you are looking for a chance to make a difference, this is it. Formal training and mentoring is available to ensure your success at this important volunteer position.
We can provide training or mentoring for all of these positions. For more information, please contact the commissioner.
